I came in for a haircut for the first time at Wayward. My barber was Em. They were so welcoming, comforting & lovely to chat to. Very reassuring throughout the haircut, explaining their process. Em listened to what I wanted & delivered exactly that. They provided a comfort & safe space that I haven’t experienced at a barber shop before. Overall, Em made my experience here 10/10 & I will be back to see them!

I was recommended this place by a retired barber, and I can see why. I just had a great first experience at Wayward Barbershop. I arrived a few minutes early, and was offered a drink while I waited. Andrew was my barber, he was very welcoming and attentive. This barber shop is LGBTQ+ friendly and non judgmental. Everyone there was personable, coordinated and skilled. I showed Andrew two reference images and he combined them into a haircut that works perfectly for me. I would highly recommend giving this gem a try if you're in the Barrie area.

Took my son to get a hair cut at Wayward today. My son is only 2 and half and doesnt like to get his haircut. Andrew was so patient and friendly with him and by the end of it had won him over. After we left my son even said he had fun. Amazing experience - very welcoming spot and Andrew did an awesome job. Will be out new go to spot for sure.
